Hi, I'm Amy
Before training as a coach and therapist, and creating Moments for Your Mind, I spent 20 years working as an actress and producer. I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories, the character analysis, the hows and whys that shape our behaviours, patterns and ways of relating.
Today, I bring together that creative insight with my training as an integrative counsellor and life coach. I work with clients using the past to inform the future, helping to gently untangle the stuck places that often sit beneath the surface and drive unhelpful behaviours or emotional overwhelm.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from a broad toolbox tailored to each person. This includes traditional psychodynamic therapy, Transactional Analysis, and mind-body approaches such as Gestalt. I also work with polyvagal theory and techniques to help clients understand their nervous system responses and find ways to regulate, feel safer in their bodies and access a greater sense of calm and connection.
In some sessions, I may bring in movement, breathwork or guided visualisation to support a deeper connection to the body. These practices can be a powerful way to process emotion, especially when words alone feel limited.
Alongside therapy, I offer Reiki healing. I trained as a Reiki Master over ten years ago and continue to be inspired by the way energy work can support emotional release and nervous system balance. Reiki is available as a standalone offering or can be integrated into a wider therapeutic journey, depending on what feels right for you.
As a working actress as well as a therapist, I understand the pressures and emotional landscape of creative industries. I don’t believe we are meant to live inside just one version of ourselves. I hold space for people who are navigating change, identity shifts or simply looking for more space to breathe and reflect.
Most of my clients are female creatives and entrepreneurs looking for someone who can meet them with both insight and warmth, and walk alongside them as they move toward a more connected and grounded way of being
